New Public Protector to Visit Bloemfontein

The new Public Protector, Mr M L Mushwana will be visiting the Regional Office of the Public Protector in Bloemfontein on Monday, 25 November 2002. Mr Mushwana took office on 1 November 2002 as second Public Protector of South Africa.

Whilst in Bloemfontein on Monday, Mr Mushwana will, at the invitation of the Commission on Gender Equality, also be attending the opening of the Provincial Gender Indaba, which is being hosted by the Commission. On this occasion, he will be lighting a torch to commemorate the 16 days of activism against gender-based violence.
